A couple of points I wanted to make about Tylluan’s Recommended Blogs here. Firstly, I am linking (mostly) to individual posts rather than to complete blogs. I don’t have the time to check out an entire blog.
Secondly, this blog of mine is in no way implying that any of the blogs on BCUK’s ‘Featured Blogs’ page are undeserving. Most are excellent. But the list hardly changes. There are other good blogs out there, and I think it’s great to go and visit them, too.
Thirdly – why do I recommend some blogs? Well, I like to recommend something different, something that informs, entertains, is well written or plain quirky. I am just one person. I am going to make mistakes: put in the not-so-good and leave out the bloody brilliant from time to time. I am doing my best though, and I assure readers that whatever else I happen to be, I am not lazy.
But yesterday’s stats for this blog were a tad intriguing. Just before midnight I checked:
